The LochSmiths are looking forward to a great 2026; we’ve been practicing, gigging, learning….. but we realize that while musically we aren’t much better, we are WAY MORE FUN!
We play songs from from the days of 8 tracks, Pintos and Gremlins that evoke memories of riding around with your friends looking for a high school party.
Who (and why) are the LochSmiths?
The LochSmiths are a pair (and sometimes a trio) of folks that live at Loch Lloyd; we grew from playing firepit parties to playing places like Martin City Pizza, Rosehill Winery, Jaudons Public House and private events. Some say we are the best cover band at Loch Lloyd. Others say we are the only band from Loch Lloyd….. The Band Consists of
Johnny Murphini ; Roadie, Manager, Sound Guy, Website Manager, mediocre Guitarist and wanna-be vocalist. Johnny knows most of the words of each song, plays a tad faster than he should, but bless his heart tries really hard.
Beth Azan: Lead Vocals, sass, spice and the real reason people some to hear us play. She easily covers a range of singers from Patsy Cline, Christine McVie/Stevie Nicks, Nancy Sinatra to Lady Gaga. Once she joined the band several fans have asked Johnny to “never sing again !”
“Sometimes” Stan Perry. Stan is the rhythm section, playing the cajon drum box, backup vocals and sometimes lead vocals. Like George Jones, we’re not really sure he’s going to show up, so we leave a chair for him like Elijah at Passover feasts.
Set List/Artists Covered: basically if you’ve ever been to a happy hour Apres Ski or a beach bar, you’ll know every song we play.
